METHODOLOGY

One evidence standard for breakthroughs and criticism.

dsh-hot is a factual tracker for the DeepSeek Harness community. We preserve primary sources, break down disputes, attribute contributions, and clearly identify what remains unknown.

Editorial independence

Coverage and judgments do not depend on whether a signal benefits DSH. Solid criticism is never suppressed, and unverified attacks are not admitted to manufacture balance.

Separating evidence from responses

Factual verification, maintainer responses, and issue resolution are tracked independently. A polite acknowledgement indicates openness to feedback, but does not mean a technical fix has been delivered.

Objective standards

  1. 01Actively track failed reproductions, security vulnerabilities, developer pain points, regressions, and benchmark disputes.
  2. 02Criticism and bugs are never deprioritized; high-impact issues can lead the homepage regardless of social metrics.
  3. 03Critics, security researchers, and developers reporting failures receive the same recognition as core contributors.
  4. 04Republished content across multiple platforms is not counted as independent evidence.
  5. 05Maintainer acknowledgement or a courtesy reply does not mean an issue is resolved.
  6. 06When solid new evidence emerges, conclusions are updated immediately with full revision history.

Fact extraction workflow

Review primary discussions → remove rhetorical noise → extract core claims → compare supporting and opposing evidence → identify gaps → define tests → establish revision criteria.

Technical analysis & opinion classification

Empirical tests, causal analyses, and design debates are evaluated separately. Verifiable code is judged by reproduction results, while architecture opinions present trade-offs and validation criteria.
